Issues:
- Separation of Church and State
- Interfaith Dialogue
- Anti-Muslim Violence
- Creationism/Intelligent Design in the Classroom
Recognizing that all the worlds great religions have a measure of the truth but no one religion can contain it in its entirety, Unitarian Universalism seeks a world of true religious pluralism, not just tolerance for differences of beliefs. We hold diversity as a gift, not an obstacle nor inconvenience. Toward that end, we support the strict separation of church and state, so that no faiths are made more powerful than others, decry religiously motivated violence perpetuated by anyone, and promote interfaith dialogue for true mutual empathy and understanding.
